V.E.T.I. Distance Learning Program

V.E.T.I. Online Registration

Thank you for your interest in taking a V.E.T.I. class online. To begin, click on the "Register Now" link below next to the class you would like to enroll in. After you complete the registration process you will receive an email welcoming you to your course. Two days before class you will receive a username and password. Students who register after a class has begun will receive their username and password within 24 hours. Save $25 when you pre-register on or before Monday, January 16th, 2012. Afterward, the cost for an online course is $125. each. Please be sure to review the VETI FAQ's for more information about our online classes.

The cost for textbooks are not included in the registration. Please order the course textbook immediately after registering for your course. Also please add the following email address, noreply@vetionline.com to your address book now to ensure that you receive all email correspondence throughout your course. Class begins Monday January 16th 2012, and ends on the week of Monday, February 27th 2012. Online classes are seven weeks long and are limited to the first 25 students who register per class.

  Church History I - A historical and chronological review of the events and people which determined the direction and theological development of the church, from the New Testament church to the Reformation period.

  New Testament Survey - An introductory survey designed to present a panoramic view of the New Testament. The major themes, general content and message of each book will be highlighted. Special attention will be given to the historical and cultural backgrounds, the major divisions and its present day significance.

  Research and Writing - Research and writing skills are vital to effective communication. This course is designed to enhance a student's ability to do effective research as well as develop proper writing skills. Students will learn correct grammar, spelling and vocabulary to enhance writing style. Also covered will be the writing process, the three steps of resourcing and drafting & revising. Students will also learn how to find information as well as how to include that research into their writing. An introduction to library research skills will be included along with a list of research resources to assist the student in writing projects.

  Book of Romans - Romans is one of the most important books in the Bible. This course provides an exposition of the book of Romans that emphasizes the application of Paul's theology to the pastoral needs of both his churches and ours.

  Introduction To Missions - This course provides an introduction to the biblical and historical perspective of mission.   Introduction to Urban Ministries - An in-depth look at urban ministry focusing on the biblical mandate of fulfilling the Great Commission.Topics include: foundations of urban ministry as a theological perspective, 21st century urban challenges and cross cultural evangelism.   Pastoral Care & Counseling - If you want to learn how to counsel people more effectively this class is for you. This course deals with the responsibilities of the Pastor in counseling and in the spiritual oversight of pastoral care. It includes various models of counseling problems faced by the counselor and an emphasis on the role of the Holy Spirit.
